What is  Acetyl Tetrapeptide 5?

Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 is an innovative biomimetic peptide. It targets the main causes of hair loss, providing fuller and thicker hair. 


Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 (Capixyl) has a direct action on DHT preventing the hair cycle to shorten and hair follicle miniaturization, improving the ECM proteins for better anchoring and promoting an increase of follicle size.


Function of  Acetyl Tetrapeptide 5
1. It is said to have a direct action on 5-∝-reductase (enzyme) which modulates (DHT) to help prevent hair follicle miniaturization. DHT causes hair loss by shortening the growth cycle, producing progressively shorter and finer hair.
2. It improves ECM (extra cellular matrix) protein integrity in dermal papilla for a better hair anchoring. 
3. It reduces damages caused by inflammation.
4. It shows an increase in the anagen stage of hair growth, and a decrease in the telogen phase.
